Code of conduct
It is a condition of entry to playnetball.com that you agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct. By registering as a player, you agree to abide by the rules as set out below, as well as facing any consequences that may arise due to a breach of the code of conduct. The code covers the behaviour of all players/teams and supporters associated with playnetball.com. If a player contravenes any aspect of the code of conduct, this needs to be brought to the attention of the competition managers or, in their absence, a playnetball.com official who will commence the disciplinary process.
The disciplinary process involves 2 or 3 steps, depending on the severity of the breach. The first breach will result in a verbal warning, escalating to a written warning or suspension with length decided by management, dependant on the breach. The third transgression will result in immediate termination of registration. In the case of serious breaches, management reserves the right to suspend the offending player immediately and if appropriate immediately terminate their registration. Refunds will not be given upon suspension or termination of registrations.
Further action may be taken once a person is asked to leave the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School. This may include civil or criminal charges. Playnetball.com management will keep confidential the names and details related to breaches of the codes of behaviour and ethics, unless disclosure is necessary as part of the disciplinary or corrective process.
